LOGO SIZE
A logo is most effective when it makes its impact subconsciously. It may say who you are, which is important. But more important than stating your identity is presenting what your company DOES in a clear, intuitive way that only requires a maximum of 3 seconds to grasp. A logo of 250 x 80 pixels max should be more than sufficient for most websites.

Pricing for Websites

Basic—$250 and up
For a simple, static, informational 3-5 page website containing just a few photos and no database, the cost can be as low as $250 for off-the-shelf template designs or $550 and up for custom-designs. . . roughly.

Intermediate—$350 and up
Increasingly tech-savvy consumers, however, seek more functionality from business websites, such as question/feedback forms, newsletter sign-up forms, and so on. Websites incorporating some of these rudimentary interactive features typically cost an additional $100 to $500, depending on the complexity and number of the dynamic features you need.

High-End (E-Commerce/Advanced Database)—$1000 and up
At the other end of the spectrum are e-commerce sites complete with 128-bit encryption, shopping carts, sales-reports, administrative tools, credit card processing, etc. Also in the high-end category are websites that require substantial databases and complex information storage and retrieval capabilities. These advanced sites start at $1000 and go up depending on features.
